Cistern Point
This is a great dive for those that enjoy plentiful reef life and long bottom times. This shallow site is great for watching fish behaviour and for adding different gobies and wrasses to your fish spotting list. The rocky point is on the southern tip of Manchioneel Bay and extends to a maximum depth of 40 feet.
Wreck of the Marie L.
The Wreck of the Marie L. was intentionally sunk off Cooper Island in the early 1990's. The Marie L. is a 75 foot long cargo boat, which was owned by a local family, she sits in 85 feet of water. Recently another tugboat, the Pat was sunk next to the Marie L. The boats are sitting upright and are actually resting on one another with a narrow gap between them, which divers can swim through. Under the stern of the Marie L. you will find jack-knife fish and spotted drums, there is also a large colony of garden eels in the sand around the wrecks.
